Openclaw Extension
The DeepNexus Openclaw Extension turns a plain OpenClaw install into a Web3-ready agent. In one step it:
- Registers DeepNexus as a model provider (same as Integrating OpenClaw).
- Installs the DeepNexus skills — on-chain payment verification, x402 paywalls, smart-contract review, 8004 agent registration and more — into
~/.openclaw/skills.
Install
curl -fsSL http://localhost:3000/install/openclaw-extension.sh | DEEPNEXUS_API_KEY=sk-dn-... bash
openclaw gateway restart
The script backs up ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json before editing it and never touches other providers or skills. Re-run it at any time to update the skills to the latest version.
Options
| Variable | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
DEEPNEXUS_API_KEY | — | Required. Your API key from the API page |
DEEPNEXUS_MODEL | deepseek-v4.1-flash | Default model for the agent |
DEEPNEXUS_SKILLS | all | Comma-separated skill IDs to install, e.g. x402-paywall,onchain-payment-check |
OPENCLAW_HOME | ~/.openclaw | OpenClaw config directory |
Installing a single skill
Every skill can also be installed on its own from the Skills page, for example:
mkdir -p ~/.openclaw/skills/x402-paywall
curl -fsSL http://localhost:3000/skills/x402-paywall/SKILL.md -o ~/.openclaw/skills/x402-paywall/SKILL.md
Uninstall
Delete the skill folders you no longer want from ~/.openclaw/skills, and remove the deepnexus entry from models.providers in ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json. A backup of your previous config is kept next to it as openclaw.json.bak-<timestamp>.
